Our Team

Steve Klinghoffer Steve Klinghoffer, along with his wife Lori, founded WPI Communications, Inc., in 1984. After practicing law for almost ten years, Steve directed his entrepreneurial interests toward helping professionals market their practices through a wide range of editorial-based tools, such as client and patient newsletters, referral-generating newsletters and Web site content. Over the last 27-plus years, Steve has worked with thousands of physicians, dentists, physical therapists, accountants, attorneys, financial planners and other professionals to help them build their practices.

Lori Klinghoffer is the executive Vice President and Creative Director for WPI Communications. In partnership with her husband Steve, President and Publisher, her primary focus is to provide their customers with the best services and products to meet their newsletter marketing needs. Lori comes from a background in graphic design and newsletter production. Her responsibilities at WPI include supervising her design team to insure the most sophisticated and creative development of all materials, as well as fulfilling personalized designs, where applicable, for their customers.

Lisa Klinghoffer Buber Lisa Klinghoffer Buber joined WPI Communications as the Director of New Business Development in 2006. She enjoys launching new products and publications, as well as working directly with customers to make sure their newsletter marketing needs are met. Lisa is a graduate of New York University and the New School for Social Research and is proud to be the second generation of the Klinghoffer family working at WPI Communications.

Editorial and Production

Anna Cooley Anna M. Cooley, WPI Communications’ Managing Editor since 2004, originally joined the editorial team in June 2001 as a production editor. In her current role, Anna oversees the in-house editorial and production department in the publication of more than 30 printed and electronic newsletters covering various medical, dental, legal and financial fields. She also manages a team of more than 50 freelance writers, editors and fact checkers. Prior to coming to WPI, Anna worked as Managing Editor at JavaReport, a computer language programming magazine published monthly. In this role, Anna oversaw the editorial and production team for the 4-color newsstand magazine. Anna’s publishing career started at Guideposts (Book Division) as Rights and Permissions Editor. There she oversaw the permissions, as well as the licensing of Guideposts materials to publishers. Her biggest success was landing the Chicken Soup for the Soul account.

Vincent Gragnani Vincent Gragnani has served as Assistant Managing Editor at WPI Communications since 2007. At WPI, he handles the production of several newsletters, maintains the company’s Web sites and assists the Managing Editor in editing and copywriting duties. He came to WPI with a journalism background, serving most recently as regional editor for Worrall Community Newspapers in Union County, N.J., where he oversaw four weekly newspapers. Vincent also worked as staff writer for The Southern Cross, the newspaper of the Catholic Diocese of San Diego. A graduate of the University of California, San Diego, he served as editor of its newspaper, The Guardian. He currently contributes articles regularly for the Staten Island Advance and other publications.

Sales and Customer Service

Sari Klinghoffer Sari Klinghoffer is the newest member of the Klinghoffer family to join WPI Communications. As Director of Sales, Sari enjoys interacting with customers, assessing their needs and focusing on how they can maximize the value of their newsletter marketing program. She comes to WPI with a background in communications and sales, having begun her career in the securities industry. She has also worked for nonprofit organizations and has completed a year-long sales training program with American Express.

Marilyn Lang Marilyn Lang joined WPI Communications in 1985. She headed up the customer service department from the business’ early years through more than two decades of intense growth. Since Marilyn joined WPI, the company has grown from one accounting newsletter to more than 30 newsletters covering various medical, dental, legal and financial fields.

Maureen Garrity Maureen Garrity manages customer relations for WPI Communications. She has worked in the sales and customer service department since early 2008, handling customer billing and the company’s EZ Mail program, while assisting the Director of Sales. She came to WPI after a 17-year career in health care administration, having served as manager of women’s health education/parent education at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J.
